Fried Pomfret



You will need


Medium sized pomfret fillets - 500 g

Ingredients for marination


1, Turmeric powder- 1/ 2 teaspoon


2, Red chilli powder-1 teaspoon


3, Pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon


4, Ginger - garlic paste - 2 teaspoon


5, Salt - to taste


Oil for deep frying


Method


Wash and clean fish with water and salt. Drain water and wipe with kitchen paper towels.

Mix ingredients from 1-5 . Apply marinate ingredients over the fish for 1 hour and fry fish on slow flame until golden colour. Serve with fish curry, rice, lemon wedges, onion rings.
