Green peas curry



Ingredients

500 g shelled green peas
4 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoon beasan
1- inch piece ginger, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
1 medium potato, peeled and cut into thin wedges
½ teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon dried mango powder ( amchur )

Method

1, Coarsely grind two thirds of the peas and set aside.

2, Heat oil on medium high. Saute ground peas, besan and ginger on medium heat for 15 minutes. Add salt, sugar,remaining peas, potatoes and 1 ½ cups water. Cook covered till potatoes are done.Sprinkle garam masala and amuchur just before serving. Serve with rotis / pulao / rice...
