Sticky Toffee Bananas



Serves : 2
Time required – 10 minutes

Ingredients

3 medium sized bananas, peeled
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon dark rum
Juice of ½ orange
1 tablespoon golden syrup
2 tablespoon half-fat creme fraiche
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds

Method

1, Cut the bananas into diagonal chunks.
2, Melt the butter in a non- stick frying pan. Add the banana and fry until it begins to brown , tossing once or twice . Take off the heat, add the rum, orange juice and golden syrup, then put back and bubble for 30 seconds, checking the pan to coat the bananas in the sauce.
3, Divide between two plates and top with the crème fraiche and pumpkin seeds.
