Nestle Walnut Coconut Slices



Ingredients

1 cup white self-raising flour ( 150 g )
¼ cup caster sugar ( 50 g )
½ cup dessicated coconut ( 50 g )
¼ cup butter ( 50 g ), melted
1 egg

For the topping:

2 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla powder
1/3 cup walnuts or 80 g, crushed
1 tin NESTLÉ® Sweetened Condensed Milk or 397 g
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup dessicated coconut or 50 g

Preparation

Grease a 19cm x 29cm rectangular pan, cover the bottom with baking paper and extend over 2 opposite sides.

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl and mix well. Press mixture over prepared pan and bake in a 170˚C oven for 15 minutes or until it becomes light brown.

For the topping:

Combine all ingredients of the topping. Fold over the hot base and bake in the oven for another 20 minutes or until firm then keep aside to cool and dust with icing sugar.
