A two colored cake. Very easy to prepare and delicious too... Must try ...

You will need

1 tin Milkmaid condensed milk ( 400 g )
2 cups ( 250 g ) flour ( maida )
2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup ( 125 g ) butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon soda - bi - carb
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup ( 250 ml ) milk
1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Method

Grease a 9 ‘’ round cake tin

Preheat oven to 150 *C or 300 * F.

Sieve flour, baking powder and soda - bi - carb together. Keep aside.

Mix condensed milk, butter, sugar and vanilla essence.

Add milk and mix.

Add flour gradually, mixing well after each addition. Beat well for 3 - 4 minutes till the mixture is light and fluffy.

Divide into 2 parts. To one part add cocoa powder and mix well.

Put half of the plain mixture in half side of the cake tin. In the other empty half, put half the chocolate mixture. Swirl a spoon lightly in the mixture to get the marble effect.

Now, put the leftover plain mixture on the chocolate mix and the chocolate one on the plain mixture. Swirl a spoon again.

Smoothen the top and bake at 150 * C or 300 * F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Insert a clean knife in the centre of the cake. If it comes out clean, switch off the oven. Remove from oven after 5 minutes.
