Mint - Coriander Rice



Mint - Coriander Rice ( A tasty rice with a difference - Go Green ..... )

Serves: 1

You will need

1 cup ( 200 g ) cooked and cooled rice
2 teaspoon oil
1/2 cup mint - coriander leaves ( mixed )
2 tablespoon ginger - garlic paste ( fresh & homemade )
1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Wash and clean mint and coriander leaves and make a paste in a mixer.

Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a frying pan. Fry mint - coriander paste and ginger - garlic paste on a medium heat ( 5 - 6 minutes ) till raw smell disappears.

Add cooked and cooled rice and salt to taste. Stir well till mint - coriander mixture well coated on cooked rice. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 - 5 minutes.

Serve with curd / pickle or any gravy dishes of your choice.
