Easy Cupcakes (no added butter)
Makes: 4 (each cake weighs 20 g)
Here’s a basic recipe of easy cupcakes.
Ingredients
30 g all purpose flour (maida)
½ teaspoon baking powder
30 g sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon milk
¾ teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
Preheat oven at 190 * C or 375 * F.
Sieve twice all purpose flour and baking powder.
In a bowl, beat sugar and egg until creamy. Please use
electric beater.
Add sieved flour and
vanilla essence. Gently mix with a thick tablespoon until all the ingredients
are well combined / creamy in consistency.
Now add 1 teaspoon milk and mix well. Consistency should be
like normal cake batter.
Spoon into paper bake cups or greased cupcake pan ( up to 3
/4 level ) and bake at 375 * F or 190 * C for 17 - 20 minutes or until done / well
risen / light brown color on top. Remove from the oven and keep aside to cool for 15
minutes. Serve warm …
