Pepper Noodles with Mixed Vegetables & Shredded
Chicken (No added sauce and MSG
(ajinomoto). Best with any Chinese gravy dishes !!
Serves: 2
For noodles:
Ingredients
100 g vegetable noodles
Cook noodles as per the packet instructions. Cover and keep
aside.
Other ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
8 garlic cloves, finely chopped
½ - inch piece ginger, finely chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1 cup mixed vegetables (1 carrot, ½ capsicum and ¼ cup thinly
shredded cabbage – cut all the vegetables into equal size and shape)
¼ cup boiled and shredded chicken (optional)
2 teaspoon vinegar
½ to ¾ teaspoon pepper powder (or to taste)
½ teaspoon salt (or
to taste)
Boiled noodles
Method
Heat oil in a wok / wide pan on medium heat. Add chopped
garlic and fry until light golden color.
Add chopped ginger and green chilli. Fry on a low heat until
fragrant and crisp.
Add mixed vegetables and fry for 8 – 10 minutes until tender
(do not overcook vegetables).
Add boiled and shredded chicken (optional) vinegar, salt and pepper to
taste. Stir well.
Now add boiled noodles. Mix all the ingredients well
continuously for 5 – 7 minutes until noodles well combined with vegetables and
pepper powder. Serve hot with any Chinese gravy dishes .
