Pan Fried Salmon
A delicious shallow fried Salmon. It goes
best with fresh salad, mayonnaise, lemon wedges, steamed spinach, garlic bread
and French fries.
Serves: 2
Salmon fillets easily available in Miri,
Sarawak @ Giant, Boulevard and New World Mart. It costs RM 12 – 15 / fillet
Ingredients
2 salmon fillets
2 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon oil (olive oil / son flower
oil)
2 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves.
Method
Wash and clean salmon fillets. Drain out
water thoroughly. Wipe each salmon fillets with a soft cloth / towel.
In a
serving plate, mix lemon juice and salt together. Marinate this mix over
salmon fillets evenly on both the sides.
Cover and keep aside for half an hour.
In a small bowl, mix turmeric powder and
red chilli powder together (or any other spices of your choice). Marinate this
mix over salmon fillets evenly on both the sides. Cover and keep aside for half
an hour.
In a wide pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil on
medium heat. Arrange marinated salmon fillets and shallow fry for 10 – 12 minutes until done /
well cooked on both the sides. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with fresh salad / garlic bread /
steamed spinach / lemon wedges …
