Raisin Honey Oats Biscuits

Makes- 19


1 1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup raisins
2 egg whites
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup castor sugar
25 g melted butter


Sift together the flour and the baking powder.

Combine oats, raisins, flour and sugar in a bowl.

Combine egg whites, honey and butter and stir in the mixture.

Drop heaped tablespoons of mixture about 3 cm apart on a greased baking tray and press with a fork.

Bake at 350 * F or 180 * C for about 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.

Lift on to a wire rack and allow to cool.

Serve with tea / coffee.
