A delicious breakfast dish or serve as an evening snack,
made of boiled macaroni, seasoning and grated coconut.

Ingredients
For macaroni:
1 ¼ cup / 250 ml macaroni – any leading brand (Please
measure in Indian standard measuring cup of 200 ml / 8 oz capacity)
Cook macaroni as per the packet instructions.
For seasoning:
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
½ teaspoon jeera (cumin seeds)
¼ teaspoon urad dal
2 green chilli, slit lengthwise
4 - 6 curry leaves
1/4 teaspoon chopped ginger
Boiled macaroni
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon grated coconut
Method
Heat oil in a frying / karahi on medium heat. Add mustard
seeds. When they crackle, add add jeera and urad dal. Fry on a low heat for 1
minute until fragrant.
Add slit green chilli, curry leaves and chopped ginger. Fry on a low heat until fragrant and crisp.
Add boiled macaroni and adjust salt to taste (you can also add boiled vegetables, boiled mutter along with macaroni.. carrot / French beans..) Cover with a
lid and cook on a low heat for 5 minutes.
