Omelette Sandwich



















Omelette Sandwich - A quick and easy breakfast dish or serve as a snack. Best with milk / fruit juice …

Serves: 1 – 2

Ingredients

4 wholewheat or Brown bread slices

1 omelette

1 teaspoon oil to grease  Sandwich maker (Please follow the instructions carefully)

For  omelette:

Ingredients

1 egg

1 tablespoon chopped onion

1 tablespoon chopped tomato (optional)

1 tablespoon  chopped coriander leaves (or a mix of mint and coriander)

2 teaspoon milk

Salt to taste ( 1/4 teaspoon )

Pepper powder to taste (or ¼ teaspoon)

2 teaspoon cooking oil

Method

In a small bowl, beat egg nicely with the help of an egg beater. Then mix with onion, tomato, coriander leaves, milk, salt and pepper.

Lightly coat an omelet pan  / tawa  with cooking oil and heat over medium heat 1 minute. Pour omelette mixture into pan, spread it evenly and cook until mixture begin to set on bottom.

The underside should be light golden in color.

Once it turn light golden color, remove carefully with a flat spatula. Omelette is ready now. Cut omelette  into 2 pieces. ½ piece omelette required for 2 bread slices.

















Final preparation:

Arrange ½ piece of omelette in between 2 bread slices and toast in a sandwich maker until done / golden color. Serve hot with fruit juice / milk or serve as a snack.
