Shallow fried Nentrampazham ( Kerala Banana )
A delicious and nutritious snack
Makes: 6 - 8 pieces from 1 ripe banana
You will need
1 ripe plantain ( nenthrampazham / plantain / pikkenne kele )
1 teaspoon ghee
1 teaspoon honey
Method
Cut ripe plantain into desired shape pieces.
In a frying pan, heat 1/2 teaspoon ghee. Reduce heat to medium and shallow fry plantain pieces till golden color and soft on both the sides. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon ghee over it. Serve hot with honey.
